GBN launches new site in Harlow
GBN Services has launched a new Recycling Centre in Harlow, moving from Threshers to Maple Road Industrial Estate.
The new site sees the introduction of a state-of-the-art trommel and shredder supported by a picking belt for further manual segregation. As a result of these changes, we have increased our recycling rate at Harlow from 80% to 94% bringing it in line with our other Recycling Centres.
The million pound investment in this purpose-build facility also enables us to increase our local capacity to 75,000 and widen the hours in which we operate. The Harlow Recycling Centre is now open from 6.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday.
Garry Hobson, Managing Director, says: “We are very pleased to make this move. We are redeveloping our old site and have been able to improve our recycling facilities and capabilities with the new site. This has been a great development all round“.
