Truck & Driver magazine features GBN fleet

GBN featured in the April issue of Truck & Driver after staff at the magazine had seen our vehicles on the road.

Impressed with our fleet and reputation in the waste industry, Truck & Driver approached us for a feature.  The resulting six pages showcased GBN’s artics which haul scrap wood and metal to GBN’s Recycling Facilities and take waste to landfill.

Centred on a day in the life of Bulk Transport Coordinator David Brown, the article demonstrated the care and attention paid by David and his colleagues when driving these 44-tonne vehicles around the narrow streets of London.  David has worked with GBN Services for 13 years and is one of our most experienced drivers.

The article stated that “unannounced visits to three of GBN depots reveal standards of presentation and housekeeping are excellent throughout the company”.  It signed off with the line “So if you should see David and his GBN Services bulker colleagues out on the road then give them a wave – these guys are good”!
